Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry Members’ Meeting on 4 April

On 4 April, the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Poland, together with the Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PRBCC), organised a meeting of the Chamber’s member companies and Polish and Romanian companies active in the two countries. The event was an opportunity for networking and exchange of experience among the participants.

The meeting was preceded by speeches by H.E. the Ambassador of Romania to Poland, Mr. Cosmin Onisii; the President of PRBCC, Mr. Gheorghe Marian Cristescu; the Director of the Department for Foreign Relations of the Polish Chamber of Commerce (KIG), Mr. Ambassador Jerzy Drożdż and the Minister Counsellor of the Romanian Embassy, Mr. Stefan Porojan.

In his opening speech, Mr. Ambassador underlined the importance of the strategic partnership between Poland and Romania and announced future events that will strengthen bilateral relations.

Mr. Cristescu, President of PRBCC, announced future activities to strengthen the activities of the Chamber, as well as new initiatives, which will benefit its members – Polish and Romanian companies.

Mr. Ambassador Jerzy Drożdż stressed the importance of Romanian-Polish relations and the growing interest of Polish companies in Romania. In this context, he announced an economic mission for Polish companies to Romania, planned by the Polish Chamber of Commerce this year.

The Minister Counsellor, Mr. Stefan Porojan, thanked for the cooperation with our Chamber and appreciated the activities that have been recently initiated by the Chamber, stressing that the Embassy will actively support these actions.
